Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., Magdalene variant crystal regulator, green onyx case with gilt brass mounts, beveled glasses, Arabic numeral white enamel dial with sunk center, exposed escapement and beat adjustment, blued steel hands, 8 days, time and strike, movement with round plates, faux mercury pendulum.
CONDITION:
case good overall, dirty, minor flake in stone at front lower left, minor scratches and oxidation on gilt surfaces, rear glass with flake at lower right, dial dirty and with minor flake at 6:30, hands with minor oxidation, movement ticks and strikes, pendulum with one broken vial. This clock appears to be the same as the Magdalene model, but without the feet and lion ornament
